1: Which TV makes/models can be repair?

2: My remote is not functioning or not all the functions are available.

The remote control is locked out due to low, or run-down batteries. Open the battery compartment, remove and discard the old batteries. Hold down any button on the keypad for at least 30 seconds (this fully discharges the unit). Refit new batteries ensuring the correct polarity is used (+/- as marked in the battery compartment). All functions should now be restored.

3: No picture or sound is available from equipment connected to my TV

Ensure all connection leads/cables are securely seated in their relevant sockets on the TV and all connected items being used.

4: I am unable to access Freeview Channels on my TV

Switching between analogue and digital Freeview channels is achieved by using the ATV/DTV function buttons on your remote control or the source listing in the menu of your TV. Refer to your user instruction manual for this procedure.

5: My Freeview picture is freezing or breaking up

This is generally regarded as a signal related issue for which a wideband aerial, producing a good signal, is recommended. It is advisable to have your aerial installation checked by a qualified installer to confirm this.

6: My picture is freezing/pixelated or I have no sound from my Sky or cable box

Reset/Reboot your cable box by isolating it from the mains supply for at least two minutes before reconnecting the power.
