Now for the iGod generation
A CHURCH minister has hit upon a novel way to help people worship without having to go to church. The Rev Albert Bogle and congregation member Neil MacLennan have begun streaming Sunday services real-time on to iPhones and iPads. The vicar of St Andrew’s in Bo’ness,West Lothian, said he hoped it would open up ‘a whole new world’ for the housebound. ‘We tried the technology last weekend and I was able to sit in my car and watch the morning service live,’ added Mr MacLennan. ‘You can watch it anywhere which has a 3G network.’ The church, which has been webcasting for some years, also plans to try streaming on to BlackBerrys and Nokia phones.
